Barolo

Known as the king of Piedmont, Barolo wines are renowned as some of the greatest wines in the world. Our Riva Leone Barolo lives up to that legacy without the large price tag of some producers. The deep and complex aromas and flavors change and reward in the glass as it opens.

Limestone and Clay

Tasting notes

Deep garnet color with a brick rim leads to high aromas of cherry, maple, spice and anise. The palate is firm yet full and balanced with intense and lingering flavors that change savory.

Food pairings

Truffles pair classically well with this Piedmont favorite, but it also pleases with pork roast or veal ossobuco as well as most savory dishes.
